Citizens for Plainfield Township Trails is a grassroots group of individuals working to promote development of potentially 30 miles of non-motorized trails in Plainfield Township. In order for the vision to become a reality, residents need to Vote YES for Trails on August 2.
There is only one week before the election so we really need as many volunteers as possible (you don't have to live in the township) to help!
We especially need help to distribute brochures to township voters. Routes are broken up into small 1 hr. neighborhood groups that can be done any time between now and 8/1.
Ways you can help
- #1 - Vote Yes on August 2 and share the positive message about the benefits of trails for Plainfield Township with your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family.
- If you are on Facebook, Like and Share our page. Invite your friends to like Citizens for Plainfield Township Trails on Facebook too.
- Sport a "Yes for Trails" sign on your bike or shirt (like a race number), sign up for a shift to educate trail users about the millage, exhibit a yard sign, or host a group bike ride, walk, BBQ or bon-fire and have fun while you share trails millage information.
- Distribute door hanger brochures at the homes of voters.
